"...a truly gorgeous and                                  powerful voice..."

American lyric soprano Elyn Green was first bitten by the operatic bug after witnessing Violetta's dramatic death scene in La Traviata at the Metropolitan Opera in 2008. Since then, Ms. Green has fallen in love with Mimi, Donna Elvira and Tosca and was honored to cover the Countess in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Elyn's vocal interests do not stop at opera, as she has a keen enjoyment of German lieder, musical theater, and spirituals.

In addition to opera, Ms. Green has also lent her voice to projects outside the musical realm through as a voice-over artist.  Previously focused on highlight and instructional videos, she is looking forward to expanding to commercials and audio books in the coming year.

Elyn had the opportunity to travel to both Los Angeles and New York and participate in master classes with representatives from UCLA, Yale and Julliard, composer Eric Whitacre, soprano Katherine Jolly – winner of the 2006 Metropolitan Opera National Council Audition, and Eugene Sirotkine from the Metropolitan Opera – for whom she sang in a solo master class.

Elyn graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2014, with a Bachelors in Music Performance. She was honored to be the recipient of the C. Sheldon and Patricia Roberts Scholarship. â€‹Ms. Green is currently living in East Texas and has just returned from a Scandinavian tour with the Dallas Symphony Chorus.
